For me, these landscapes are entwined with color and line and reflect my passion for nature while living off the land at the my Indiana farm.
I capture in my work a variety of what I encounter around me, such as the quietness of a snowfall, the moonlight in wintertime, the fields of green growing and blowing… These experiences connect me to the land and make me feel grounded. I think everyone can relate to that feeling of being home, that feeling of peace and belonging. This is why I paint about my home.
