Group Exhibit: Winter Salon

Vivid Art Gallery is pleased to announce our December exhibition, Winter Salon, which presents the most recent, exciting work by eight of our represented artists. The term ‘salon’ originated in turn-of-the-century Paris with the official academic art institutions, the French Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture and later the Academy of Fine Arts, and that came to refer to any large mixed art exhibition. With this history in mind, we’ve curated a selection of vibrant works in a variety of different styles that reflect the winter transition between the end of the year and the coming new year. These works range from quiet contemplations on the stillness of winter, to exuberant reflections of the time ahead.
