It was within the glass walls of these historic glasshouses that the botanical treasures of newly "discovered" lands were cultivated, transformed into commodities, and transported across oceans. The greenhouse structures, often symbols of opulence and exoticism, stand as silent witnesses to the intertwined histories of exploration, exploitation, scientific advancement, delight and discovery.

Focusing on structures of botanical collection, these lithographs with layered watercolor and drawing, invite critical consideration and delight in the architecture as well as the plant life within.
